USB-S7 Adaptor MPI, DP, PPI
The USB-S7 Adaptor MPI, DP, PPI is a USB to MPI/PPI or PROFIBUS DP converter for use with programming software or HMI applications.
It has a 1.2 m (approximately 4 ft) MPI connecting cable that plugs directly into the programming socket on the CPU, or into any other node on the MPI network. The LCD display shows the transmission rate and the MPI or DP address.
The housing contains a type B USB socket, and the adaptor connects to the PC with the USB cable supplied. Power comes from the PC, so no separate supply is needed. The adaptor can be used at any node on the MPI bus.
